This is an urgent request for those that are able to help Pol and provide him with a lifeline to the outside world. Pol uses Phone Cards which he has to purchase in the jail he uses around $10.00 a day to stay in touch with his family and friends and to contact journalists and coordinate his campaign against Deportation. A small gift of $5 -10 is a great way to show our support and to allow Pol to continue using the phone. People can send those small amounts of cash (fives and tens are best) directly to Pol at;

His mail is opened in front of him, so there is no danger of his not getting it. Occasionally, mail has been returned to the sender because of a rip in the envelope and those envelopes have had cash in them,and it's been returned.
Someone generously sent Pol $10 through PayPal,
but PayPal takes a significant enough cut from the
transaction so much is lost when the donation is a
small one. A ten dollar bill tucked in a card sent
directly to Pol is the most effective way to get him
money for phone cards.
It seems that the prison machines have not been tooled to accept the "new" currency. The old fashioned greenbacks are the best.
